Care innovations in practice – experiences and recommendations from the „Cluster Zukunft der Pflege“<\/h3>\n

Care innovations – especially in conjunction with digitalisation and the potential of AI – are seen as a key lever for both raising the quality of care and meeting the growing challenges of the shortage of skilled workers. The question of which factors can promote or hinder the development, selection and implementation of care technologies is the task of the „Future of Care Cluster“, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The entire socio-technical care system (people, organisation and technology) in which the technology is to be used is being considered.<\/p>\n

Using examples from the Nursing Innovation Centre (PIZ) and from four Nursing Practice Centres (PPZ), this book presents the phases of the technology development process and the implementation of nursing innovations in various nursing settings in everyday nursing practice, poses and discusses the questions of social, ethical and economic relevance as well as the importance of practical benefits and acceptance. At the same time, conditional factors for successful care innovations are analysed in order to improve the nursing benefits for those in need of care and the benefits for carers.
\nIn short: a profound insight into the „Zukunft der Pflege“ workshop with numerous practice-orientated findings for the use of digital innovations in everyday care and pointers for further development and research needs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
